"...Sometimes when you sacrifice something precious, you're not really losing it. You're just passing it on to someone else."

This is the phrase that struck me most as I read Mitch Albom's 'The 5 people you meet in heaven'. Although Easter has passed, I still remember how I felt and what I thought of during my cell meeting the Friday before Easter. During prayer time, I was troubled with the fact that God had to sacrifice His Son for me and Jesus had to sacrifice His life for me. Now I know that Jesus didn't just lose his life, He passsed it on to me and to you in full abundance.

Gubra

The Indian music blared out from behind the walls and for a while, we were questioning whether we got the right theatre. Then it all clicked. Gubra STARTED ALREADY!!! We rushed in and was immediately enveloped in something local, something familiar and yet something deeper.

I won't spoil it for all you people who have yet to watch it (Go watch it for goodness sake!!!) so I'll just tell you how I feel or how I'm feeling right now. Its as if Sepet has matured and deepened into a recognizable voice, a person with courage who knows the exact thoughts of each race and voices it in a fashion that does not seek to divide but build. Watching it with my friends, I realised that just as Sepet has grown, I too have grown and in the same way, I know Malaysia has grown and will continue to.

Surprise!!!

I can't believe i actually revamped my blog myself. Method used was trial and error and after 3 hours or experimenting, this is the end result. I've added a photo link above my tagboard so feel free to check it out. There are still some things left out but my butt is going to atrophy if i don't get up so yeah, will post again soon!
