Finally, I decided to give a boot to my "too busy to blog because of exam" excuse. So much have been happening and I guess I want to reflect a bit on what has happened so far. November has been a month of decisions and discoveries set to change my life forever.

First comes the IMU Partner Medical University matching, a procedure that will place me for 3 years in a foreign university to finish my degree. When I got the letter, I just couldn't believe my eyes! University of Liverpool, England!!! The first reaction was shock! To tell the you the honest truth, I was upset as this was my fifth choice. Seeing that my results are not bad, this is quite shocking. To make it harder, I've had to put up with people giving me stupid remarks like "Hah? Liverpool? But you're JPA, you should go somewhere more expensive!" What the...but I'm not going to waste my blog space feeling sorry for people who assign value based on price.

Anyway, in trying to work out the equation, I forgot God but when I called my Pa, he was like "Have you praised God yet?". *Whack on the head* I sort of reluctantly mumbled "thanks God" but suddenly I was at peace. Can't explain the feeling but I know now, it must be God! However impossible it is that I got my 5th choice or gazillionth choice, nothing was impossible with Him. If it's Liverpool, it's Liverpool then. He must have his reasons. Anyway, the only reason why I did not rank Liverpool higher was because there were only 3 places which sounds pretty lonely and still does but I'll just have to make new friends.

Some facts about Uni of Liverpool
1) Founded 1881
2) Home to 8 Noble Laureates including the first man to use an X-ray for medical diagnosis
3)Part of the Russell Group Universities (the IVY LEAGUE equivalent for British Unis)famous for research, learning and teaching
4)Ranked 1 in the world for Medical Physiology and is also famous for studies in Infection and Immunology

And to think that I thought I got 2nd best or rather 5th best ha ha. Praise God for His Grace is sufficient for me and I also thank Him that my friends are also placed in universities according to His marvellous will! I've never felt so blessed :) Amen!

I turned 22 the next day and had a superb time at a Hillsong concert with the usual gang. Unknowingly, my neighbours and sisters from TTDI planned a surprise party for me at home which was so sweet. As a whole, I really had a wonderful time celebrating at home but more importantly, I realise that in this journey of life, I'll never walk alone.

ps: You'll Never Walk Alone is the theme song for Liverpool Football club just in case you didn't know ;)
