I feel like I have been flying through the past month and this are summaries of my various stopovers.

Genting Highlands
Had the time of my life on those rides I've missed so much. Everything has changed! The rides are bolder, bigger, better and so are the prices. Here are the rides I sat according to ranking;

1. Solero Shots - 10 seconds of the first drop is a sheer adrenaline rush
2. Corkscrew - sigh if only the ride's longer with more loops
3. Superman - this actually deserves to be 2nd if not for that stinking cage
4. Cyclone - classic, my first ride which brought all the memories back
5. Flying swing thingy - it won't be fun if i wasn't part of a bunch of hooligans
6. Teacups - good remedy if you hate your breakfast
7. Flying Jumbo - zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Kuala Kubu Baru
My last trip there was filled with games, laughter, late nights, good friends and good food. On the 2nd day, we went waddling in a waterfall. By waddling I mean, trying not to get washed away by strong currents and screaming after the guys who always seem to get themselves into stupid, smart-ass antics.

Now to serious business, how in the world can a mother of 9 children suffering from diabetic complications be alone in the ward, unsure if any of her children will be picking her up. They do not even have the heart to visit her during chinese new year. A baby was abandoned with pneumonia and a deformed hand. Watching him cry and struggle feebly was painful if not for the presence of 2 social workers caring for him. There is hope after all, we just have to look.

X-CAVATE
Struggling with the after-effects of too little sleep from KKB, I dove head on into my CF's annual camp at MBS Rawang. I was truly touched by the message, the sharing and the interaction we had over the 3 days. Everything was simple but powerful, quiet but impactful. All glory to God who loves us, through whom our true identity shines from and to whom, our praises are meant to glorify forever, AMEN!
